Bed Linen Wholesale from Pakistan: What to Expect on Your First Order

First orders from a new supplier are where most problems happen. Not because Pakistan cannot deliver good product, but because buyers and suppliers do not always agree on what "good" means until something goes wrong.

After 22 years of managing orders for European buyers, here is what we tell people before they place their first order.

Start with a sample, not a container

Before committing to bulk, order samples of every product you plan to buy. Check the dimensions against your specifications, look at the stitching on the corners and edges, and compare the color against your requirement. If the sample is not right, the bulk will not be right either.

Put your specifications in writing

Thread count, fabric composition, dimensions, packaging format, labelling requirements. All of it in writing before production starts. Verbal agreements do not hold up when a container arrives with the wrong product.

Understand lead times before you commit

Standard production lead times for bed linen from Faisalabad are typically 45 to 60 days after sample approval and order confirmation. Add shipping time to Europe on top of that. If a supplier promises significantly shorter lead times on a large order, ask how.

Pre-shipment inspection is not optional

Before your goods are packed and the container is sealed, an inspection should happen. This is where dimension checks, stitching quality, color consistency, and packaging are verified against your order. Finding a problem at this stage is fixable. Finding it in your warehouse in Germany is not.
